You guys spend an awful lot of time customizing your avatars. It’s nice because with all the options available now I don’t think I’ve seen 2 identical avatars in, well, a long time. Unless you count ones in storm trooper outfits or whatever, but that hardly counts because it’s a uniform and it’s supposed to look, well, uniform!

There’s always a difference between what we play and what we purchase. I have the same issue with shoes. So we know what you’ve played last week, but which Arcade games could you not resist buying?
Good call on PB Winterbottom.

This week’s Deal of the Week for our Xbox LIVE Gold members is 50% off Duke Nukem 3D from Xbox LIVE Arcade.
From Xbox.com, since it can describe it more delightfully than I can:
“Duke Nukem, the politically incorrect action hero and ultimate alien ass kicker, defends Earth and its babes from alien invasion in Duke Nukem 3D. This is the award winning game that helped define the FPS genre, introducing unparalleled interactivity, and a main character that spoke. Take the fight to the aliens across 39 levels featuring Hollywood, Los Angeles, a moon base, and alien spacecraft. Innovative items like the Jetpack, HoloDuke, Shrink Ray, or Pipe Bombs allow you to fight the aliens in any style you want. Defeat the aliens, so Duke can get back to some R&R with a stogie, a warm belly, and a bottle of Jack.”
To get the discount, sign into Xbox LIVE as a Gold member. You can browse to the game in the catalogue or find the promotion in the Game Marketplace channel. The discount will be reflected when you purchase the game. That easy!
